West Coast Homecare has a hybrid workforce model that includes employees and independent contractors that aims to grow capacity for our rural and remote communities.

Our employees for Home Care Services include registered nurses, enrolled nurses, home care coordinators and community care workers, domestic workers, administration officers, scheduler’s and managers.

We engage a network of trusted Service Providers who are registered with West Coast Homecare to offer a range of care and support services, supporting people to continue the lifestyle they enjoy in their own home and community.

These local Independent Contractors are required to complete a registration and compliance process with West Coast Homecare and then will be referred to Consumers requiring services and supports for daily living.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

Complete your Online Application

  • Complete the online form below.

  • we review applications progressively and will aim to notify you of the progress of your application within 14 business days.

  • if the position is advertised we will aim to notify you 14 days after the closing date if the position was advertised.

If no immediate position is open we will hold your application for 4 months to ensure it is considered as opportunities become available. If you do not want us to hold your application please advise at the time of application or at anytime.

Phone screening interview

We may phone you to get to know you a little, this can provide an opportunity to engage with us and provide you the opportunity to tell us:

  • your motivation for the role 

  • why you would like to work with West Coast Homecare

  • about yourself 

  • your skills and experiences 

  • how you can meet the role of interest to you

This will then enable us to short list applicants for the given position available at that particular time.

Panel Interview

We may invite you to attend a panel interview, face to face or on-line eg Zoom.

  • A confirmation letter will be provided with interview date, time and location.

Referees

We may contact the referees listed at anytime after receipt of your application.

Outcome of Application

We will notify you in writing of the outcome of your application. 

Congratulations

If you are successful we will phone you for a verbal acceptance and then issue a contract to you by email outlining other documentation required in the recruitment process.

If all requirements are met successfully then the process will proceed to the Induction and Orientation phase.
